Event Ticket Terms and Conditions

For events, Magna often sells tickets on behalf of event promoters. The terms and conditions shown below of the sale of tickets is that they are non-refundable unless the show is postponed, re-scheduled or cancelled.

Upon purchasing tickets you are agreeing to comply with these conditions.

Tickets are issued on behalf of the organisation responsible for the performance or event are subject to the Terms & Conditions Below:

  • Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance, or failure to comply with the reasonable requests of management.
  • We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in the event of materially altered or cancelled performance / event. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • This ticket must not be sold or resold without express written permission from the promoter of the event.
  • Any complaints about a ticket holder's ability to view the event should be made to the promoter / manager promptly prior to or during the event.
  • Latecomers will only be admitted to the performance at a suitable break in the performance and at the discretion of management.
  • The event promoter reserves the right to amend or make alteration to the published details of the event as shall become necessary.
  • Neither the promoter nor Magna shall be responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought into the venue, unless caused by the negligence of the promoter or the venue management.
  • The unauthorised use of cameras, video or any other form of recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
  • Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in Magna.
  • WARNING: Some concerts and events may contain sound levels / effects which can cause injury to your hearing. Strobe lighting / flashing images may also be used in performances.
  • In the event of the cancellation of an event by the organiser/promoter (ie a cancellation due to circumstances beyond Magna's control), Magna will only refund the face value of the ticket. Magna will use best endeavours to contact purchasers either by phone, email or in writing (using the details provided at the time of ordering).
  • A suitable form of photo id may be required for performances with age limits and at the bar when purchasing drinks.
  • No duplicate tickets will be issued to replace lost or stolen tickets.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Magna of any change of contact details following the purchase of tickets.
  • The right of admission to an event is reserved by the promoter and Magna. No refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of late arrival, not meeting age requirements for the event, refusal to be searched, or anti-social behaviour.
  • In some cases if it is not possible to post tickets out, due to the proximity of an event, Magna reserves the right to make tickets available for collection at Magna prior to the event. Customers will be notified by phone, email or in writing (using the details provided at the time of ordering) if this is necessary.
  • In order to prevent fraud and to protect both parties, for eTickets in particular, you may be asked to provide additional information on arrival at Magna so that we can verify your purchase. This could include address, name or other personal details.
  • Parking at the venue will be subject to a charge at all music events. Please check this charge for your event by telephoning 01709 720002.
