On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July one of the year's hotly anticipated gaming festivals comes to Magna. Welcoming a diverse audience, Games Britannia: REPLAYED plays host to a wide range of gaming for families, casual and hard-core gamers - a host of immersive and exciting zones for everyone.
Publisher Namco-Bandai will be attending, bringing some of their latest releases and upcoming titles including Ben 10 Galactic Racing and Madagascar 3. Nintendo will be bringing their fantastic Unleashed Tour, promising the chance to demo and play the very latest games before they're released anywhere else.
Sheffield's SUMO Digital will be out in force, showcasing their entire back catalogue of titles, and who knows, maybe you'll get a chance at a UK exclusive first-play peak at the upcoming SEGA All Stars Racing: Transformed sequel to the Sonic classic.
They'll be plenty of hands-on consoles, PC and handheld gaming, arcade cabinets, the famous Replay Lounge plus the Indie Zone - the best independently produced games including exclusives Majestic-12, Gunpoint, Girls Like Robots and Thomas Was Alone.
For those looking for something other than electronic gaming, there's even a boardgame micro-festival, which will have some of the most quirky and interesting games for you to try out.
Last, don't miss the stellar guest speakers - To mark 30 years of Football Manager games, Kevin Toms will be talking with Miles Jacobson OBE, and on Sunday Martin Hollis, Crytek's Karl Hilton and Eurocom's Tony Wills talk about the James Bond franchise.
Tickets prices for this event are: Adult Day = £10, Child Day = £8, Family Day (2 adults and 2 children) (saving of 1 child Free) = £28 (Please Note: Day tickets are valid for either the Saturday or Sunday event, Tickets cannot be used more than once to gain entry and once redeemed will become invalid)
Weekend Adult (Sat & Sun) = £18, Weekend Child (Sat & Sun) = £12
Tickets to this event attract a booking fee of £1.50 per transaction, £0.50 of which will be donated by Magna Science Adventure Centre to the disabled children's charity SpecialEffect.
The tickets for this event do not include entry to Magna Science Adventure Centre visitor attraction or the outdoor playground, Sci-Tek and Aqua Tek.
