The Phoenix Rooms rise to their to 1st Birthday

The Phoenix Rooms reach their 1^st birthday this week at Magna, Since opening in April 2009 the rooms have been used for various events including the Festival of Lights, Yorkshire Water's innovation day conference and an award ceremony for Leeds Carnegie University.

Access to The Phoenix Rooms is gained through the rear of the existing Red Hall at Magna, a remarkable space with a wall of red lights, which has been used for product launches, concerts and conferences, as well as party nights. The Phoenix Rooms will be available for stand alone events as well as a break out space for some of the other rooms within Magna. Combined, The Phoenix Rooms have a capacity of 100 banqueting, 150 theatre style and 282 metres² of space; they can also be used as two separate rooms and have a striking meet and greet area, illuminated by red bars.
