Museums at Night

30th April 2010

You've seen what comes to life in the film "Museums at Night" .... Well something stirs in the night at Magna and here is your chance to discover what it is. Join us we take part in Museums at Night on Sunday 16th May for a special Behind the Scenes Steel Tour, including the awesome Big Melt Show. This is a chance for you to get into the heart of the steelworks and discover what life was like for the many men and women who worked within the demanding steel industry.

The tour will be led by a Magna steel worker whose fascinating experiences of work within this industry will be brought to life. The Big Melt will accompany the steel tour to really bring the atmosphere of the steelworks to life. This is a chance to delve further into the history of this vast steelworks and see areas not usually open to the public.

The Steel Tour will conclude with a traditional homemade pie and pea supper served in the Fuel Restaurant. Tickets for this event are only £15 per adult and £10 per child (ages 12- 15 years; the tour is not suitable for children under 11 years) the tour will start at 7.00pm.
