Get Inside your DNA at Magna
29th June 2010This Summer Magna will be exploring the role genes play in our everyday lives - how do they affect our health?, how do they affect our personalities?, how will they affect our future?
Inside DNA is a unique new exhibition that will feature at Magna from 17th July 2010 and will run throughout the summer holidays. Inside DNA is your opportunity to explore the developments and hear from leading researchers. What are their views and experiences of genomic research? And what impact will their research have on you and on your family's future?
Designed to provoke questions and stimulate debate, Inside DNA will encourage you to explore issues such as the role of our genes and environment in our health, identity and evolution. It delves into ethical questions such as whether genetic testing will lead to discrimination, who will benefit most from genetic medicines, and the role of DNA databases.
Entry into this fascinating exhibition will be included in a general Magna ticket and also with a Magna annual pass.
