Take Off and Fly this February Half Term

26th January 2010

Take off and fly at Magna this February Half Term.

Magna is offering fabulous flight zone workshops where visitors can discover the power of flight and make their own streamline paper airplanes and boomerangs. The visitor with the airplane which flies the furthest during the week will win an aerodynamic flight on the Zip Wire at Magna*. Flight workshops will be £1 per child participating and workshops will run at frequent times throughout the day. Booking is available on arrival to Magna.

The Zip Wire will be offering visitors the chance to fly through Magna's awesome building from 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Tickets for the Zip Wire are £4.00.

The RSPB will also be on site from Wednesday to Friday offering family fun and quizzes - a great chance for children and adults to learn more about birds.

Did you know the Magna shop offers a wide range of science kits? These are a great educational activity to keep the children busy throughout half term. The Magna Shop is open from 10.00am - 5.00pm to ticket and non-ticket holders.

Magna is a coat's on experience so wrap up warm to make the most out of your day! Sci-Tek outdoor playground will be open throughout the half term period, so you can get a fix of fresh air.

 * Winner of the Zip will have the option to use the voucher only on specified event dates at Magna - which will be provided on winning. Winner to be announced on Monday 22nd February 2010.
