October Half Term Spookiness at Magna Science Adventure Centre

This October half term. Magna challenges you to a ghostly TorchQuest around the Magna site. Bring your torch from home, with fresh batteries and use it to find hidden clues around the site, when you shine your spotlight into Magna's dark corners, who knows what you will awaken...? Follow the trail around the site and collect the clues for your chance to win a family pass for Thackray Medical Museum.

Throughout October half term, there will also be spooky workshops running Monday to Friday with between 1.00pm and 4.00pm so you can get hands-on with some seriously slimy science. Children who turn up in fancy dress on Friday 31^st November will get into Magna for free!*

As well as these special activities, Magna's awe-inspiring pavilions will be open as usual - it's your chance to experience the elements of earth, air, fire and water in purpose-built pavilions, jam-packed with challenges and games relating to the elemental themes.

Take a spin on a gyroscopic chair in Air, soak your family in Water, see the awesome tornado in Fire and get your hands on a real JCB digger in Earth!

Also, this is your last chance to play on Aqua-Tek, one of the UK's largest outdoor adventure playgrounds, before the weather gets too chilly and we close down until Easter. 

 * Up to 2 children can get in free with 1 paying adult. Children must be in fancy dress on arrival at Magna.
