Magna wishes John Heaps the best of luck for the Enjoy England Awards

John Heaps a Visitor Services Coordinator will be attending the 20^th annual Enjoy England Awards for Excellence. The awards are the highest accolade in English tourism, celebrating the very best quality and raising standards across the industry.

John Heaps claimed the regional award for Customer Service at Yorkshire's White Rose Awards for Tourism along with the Hospitality Sheffield award for Exceptional Customer Service.

John has worked at Magna for seven years and recently retired after a life in the steel industry.  John commented on the short-listing "It was fantastic news to hear I had been short-listed for such a prestigious award. I feel honored to have been nominated and this is great news for Magna too"

Managing Director of Magna, Matthew Beck commented "We are extremely proud of John's achievement in being short-listed for the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence. It is a reflection of John's hard work, experience and passion, which bring Magna to life for our visitors. We are delighted one of our staff has received such prestigious recognition for their efforts."

John will be attending the award ceremony at the National Railway Museum in York on 23^rd April 2009 and will receive either the Silver or Gold award.
