Following the November flooding the Air, Earth, Fire, Water Pavilions and the Big Melt are now all working normally. The exhibition lifts are still out of action, this means that Air and Earth Pavilion access is ONLY via the stairs, which means ONLY Fire, Water and the Big Melt are wheelchair accessible in the main exhibition. “Thanks for such an inspirational facility that you have established to support appreciation of the heritage of the Steel industry. I visited Magna, from Denaby Main Primary, with my Y6 children. We were truly spoilt by John’s Living Steel workshop- the children enjoyed the science-based experimentation, mixing of ingredients, handling of objects and the highlight, for us, was to watch a true forger at work. John shared, not just his skill with, but his heart for, Steel.” Lynn Mathers, Denaby Main Primary School.
