Magna is temporarily closed due to coronavirus measures. We look forward to welcoming you in the near future.

Following flooding in early November, Air, Earth, Fire and Water Pavilions and the Big Melt are now working normally. The lifts in the exhibition area remain out of action. The Air and Earth Pavilions are only accessible via the stairs. The lifts should be operational again by early April.

Everyone enjoys an opportunity to play and you’ll be in your element creating your own adventure. There is plenty to see and do at Magna, listed below are some quick links to help you plan your visit.

Magna is a ‘coats on’ experience, please wear clothing suitable for outdoor temperatures. Please check our opening times before travelling. We have lots of FREE onsite car parking.

Need a re-fuel? Our indoor Magna Cafe, located in our Red Hall near the entrance, is open every weekend and throughout school holidays, serving delicious home-cooked hot and cold food, and drinks.

If you are visiting midweek during school term-time you are welcome to bring a packed lunch. Hot and cold drinks, crisps and confectionery are available from the Magna gift shop.
