Educational Visits - School Trips | Magna Science Adventure Centre Skip to content

Magna is a science centre with unique learning opportunities. It’s an awesome building set in the former Templeborough steelworks. Pupils can explore and discover science, technology, design and industrial history in an incredible, hands-on environment. The safety of our visitors is always our priority, and we have years of experience in creating great memories for kids on their educational visits in a secure setting.

‘Thanks for such an inspirational facility that you have established to support appreciation of the heritage of the Steel industry. I visited Magna, from Denaby Main Primary, with my Y6 children.

We were truly spoilt by John’s Living Steel workshop- the children enjoyed the science-based experimentation, mixing of ingredients, handling of objects and the highlight, for us, was to watch a true forger at work. John shared, not just his skill with, but his heart for, Steel.’  Lynn Mathers, Denaby Main Primary School.
