Calling all beer and music lovers!

The Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival is returning to Magna between 7-9th March 2024 with… The Director’s Cut.

Paying homage to the silver screen, each of the festivals bars will be named after the town’s cinemas, and visitors will also be able to enjoy a sneak preview of the Arc Cinema, which will open its doors later this summer.

Inside the festival, visitors will be able to sample over 150 beers, wines, ciders and gins, with live music performances taking place on each evening of the festival.

There is plenty of live entertainment taking place throughout the weekend too.

Thursday night will see the festival host its very first open mic session, featuring 15 live performances, backed by the festival’s very own star-studded house band, the members of which have performed across the world supporting a diverse range acts including Take That and the Spice Girls, whilst our dedicated cinema experience will host an evening of comedy, brought to you in association with the Laurel and Hardy appreciation society.

Featuring three live bands, performances include: The GMen Soul Band, Kiziah and the Kings and Funky Business, whilst in our cinema experience, we’re hosting a horror spectacular, brought to you in association with HorrorconUK.

Six bands will perform throughout the afternoon and evening and will feature The Leathernecks, Lightning Threads, Sam Sherdel, Daniel Horsham, Leptons and Bone Broke Kings. We will also be screening Saturday’s Six Nations Rugby matches in our cinema room, with Italy vs Scotland kicking off proceedings, followed by England vs Ireland.

  • Thursday and Friday: 6:00pm-11:00pm
  • Saturday: 12:00pm-11:00pm.
