Visit our hands-on pavilions Air, Earth, Fire and Water, watch the Big Melt Show, and have fun outdoors on SCI-TEK and AQUA-TEK. Enjoy watching a forge demonstration or discover the history of Magna on a steel tour.

What’s on at Magna Science Adventure Centre this Summer?

Aqua-Tek

Think summertime, think AQUA-TEK! Our splash park adventure is suitable for children of all ages. Create a splash with water cannons, spray arches, and geysers; be warned – you are going to get wet, wet, wet. Open every day during the summer holidays!

Sci-Tek

Big fun, Magna-style. Designed to let children learn through play, SCI-TEK is an outdoor adventure! Spinning bowls, tilted roundabouts, twisted slides, rockets and castles… all you need to spark the imagination and get active!

Family Learning Activities

Join us Monday to Friday each week for our family-friendly crafts, workshops and shows. Check our social media pages as our timetable will change weekly.

Under 5’s STEM Play

Come and enjoy our soft play and STEM learning area specifically made for those visiting with younger children. We have lots of new and exciting activities to help you little one learn through play, including sensory exploration and logical thinking activities.

Dinosaur Trail

Explore Magna Science Adventure Centre and complete the special Dinosaur Trail throughout the whole of summer! Don’t forget to take your completed trail to our shop to claim your prize.

Steel Tours

To find out more about the history of Magna, the impact the Steel Works had on the community and the complex process involved in forging the steel, why not join us for a Steel Tour with one of our steel heritage experts? Make sure to book on at the information desk on arrival.

Forge Demonstrations

Find out how steel can be shaped and watch a blacksmith at work with a Forge Demonstration in the Fire Pavilion throughout the Summer Holidays, daily at 11:30 and 13:30.
