Magna Science Adventure Centre is a fantastic day out for all the family this May half-term. Visit our hands-on pavilions Air, Earth, Fire and Water, watch the Big Melt Show, and have fun outdoors on SCI-TEK and AQUA-TEK. Enjoy watching a forge demonstration, or enjoy our Rocket Show.
What’s on this Half-Term:
All of our activities; Aqua-Tek, Sci-Tek, Magnificent May Trail, workshop, steel tours, forge demonstrations, and under 5’s STEM play, are FREE over the Spring Bank holiday with your Many Magna Returns annual pass OR full priced Magna admission tickets; donations are welcome.
AQUA-TEK
From Sat 27th May, we are re-opening our ever popular AQUA-TEK outdoor splash park. Soak, squirt and jet, you’re going to get very, very wet, then dry off playing on SCI-TEK our fabulous outdoor playground.
SCI-TEK
Visitors will be able to explore the SCI-TEK adventure play area. Specially designed to let children of all ages explore and learn through play, SCI-TEK is a wonderland of texture, colour and fascinating features!
THE ROCKET SHOW
Showing Monday – Friday, twice daily. Join us for our family-friendly show exploring the world of homemade rockets. Fizz, fuel or air, they all go with a whoosh. 3-2-1 blast off!
UNDER 5’S STEM PLAY
Come and enjoy our new soft play and STEM learning area specifically made for those visiting with younger children.
MAGNIFICENT MAY TRAIL
Explore Magna Science Adventure Centre and complete the special Magnificent May Trail throughout the whole of May!
STEEL TOURS

FORGE DEMONSTRATIONS
Find out how steel can be shaped and watch a blacksmith at work in the Forge Demonstrations in our Fire Pavilion throughout the Easter Holidays. Ask at reception for timings.
